HAI Lab builds AI systems that understand people and the physical world, collaborate with humans, and augment human capabilities. We are always looking for curious, self-driven people who want to do human-centered AI research with real-world impact.
Graduate Students
M.S., Ph.D., and integrated M.S.–Ph.D. students in the Department of Applied Artificial Intelligence. Research assistantships are available for admitted students.
Undergraduate Researchers
SeoulTech undergraduates who want hands-on research experience before graduate school. You will join an ongoing project and work with a graduate mentor.
Visiting Researchers
Researchers and students from other institutions who want to collaborate with us for a few months. Please describe the topic and period you have in mind.
- Research on Agentic AI, Physical AI, and AI for Social Good — LLM agents, vision-language-action models, human sensing, healthcare, and education.
- Dedicated workspace and equipment: GPU servers, workstations, XR headsets, and biosignal sensors (Sangsang Hall #410).
- Opportunities to publish at top venues (e.g., ACM CHI, SSCI/SCIE journals) and to file patents.
- Joint research with partners such as Asan Medical Center, Hyundai Motor Company, i-SENS, KITECH, and UBC.
